Nature house in Vinkeveen

There was no indication that you had to bring your own drinking water.

Er was niet aangegeven dat je zelf drinkwater mee moest nemen.

Cozy cottage, beautiful on the water. But because opposite cottages are quite close, you have little privacy. Facilities are minimal and when it rains there is not really room for 4 people to sit comfortably.

Knus huisje, mooi aan het water. Maar doordat tegenover liggende huisjes best dichtbij liggen, heb je weinig privacy. Voorzieningen zijn minimaal en bij regen is er niet echt ruimte om met 4 personen lekker te kunnen zitten.

Be sure to bring your own bedding and towels. Beds are reasonable, I think ke in the trailer is most comfortable. Most days it was nice and quiet one evening/night we were bothered by a neighbor who played very loud music.

Let op dat je zelf beddengoed en handdoeken meeneemt. Bedden zijn redelijk, ik denk dat ke in de vouwwagen het lekkerste ligt. Meeste dagen was het heerlijk rustig op een avond/nacht hadden we last van een buurman die heel hard muziek draaide.

We have been here with 3 kids aged 8, 11 and 13 and we had a great week! Please note that you have to rent the boat if you do not have a boat yourself. This is a nice spacious boat that is easy to handle even if you have no experience. The atmosphere on the island is lovely, green, great swimming water, surfboards, canoe, lovely hot tub and beautiful vintage folding camper. It is basic (m.n. the open outdoor shower) and there is limited water, gas cooking, bbq and in gas bbq but if you like that (and we do) then all that is no problem at all. It is important that you have good weather, because there is not much else to do. In terms of stuff there is a lot, small fridge (no freezer), pans, crockery and cutlery, candles and cozy lights coffee, tea, basic spices, there were briquettes and there was firewood for the hot tub and firebowl (pay separately), inflatable toys for the kids and trampoline. etc

We zijn hier geweest met 3 kids van 8, 11 en 13 en we hebben een geweldige week gehad!

Let er wel op dat je de boot erbij moet huren als je zelf geen boot hebt. Dit is dan wel een fijne ruime boot die goed bestuurbaar is ook al heb je geen ervaring. Superleuk, zelfs de kids leerden varen en waren er erg goed in!

De sfeer op het eiland is heerlijk, groen, geweldig zwemwater, surfplanken, kano, heerlijke hottub en prachtige vintage vouwcamper. Het is basic (m.n. de open buitendouche) en er is beperkt water, koken op gas, bbq en in gasbbq maar als je daar van houdt (en dat doen wij) dan is dat allemaal geen enkel probleem. Het is wel belangrijk dat je mooi weer hebt, want er is verder niet veel te doen.

Qua spullen is er wel veel, klein koelkastje (geen vriesvak), pannen, servies en bestek, kaarsjes en gezellige lampjes koffie, thee, basiskruiden, er waren briketten en er was haardhout voor de hottub en vuurschaal (apart afrekenen), opblaasspeelgoed voor de kids en trampoline. etc

What a wonderful place to unwind and explore the area. Landlady has made the island a beautiful place with trees, plants and flowers. On the deck chairs on the decking you can see the water birds and the setting sun. When the weather is a little less, it is lovely in the hot tub. And with the boat we took beautiful trips. We will definitely come back again!

Wat een heerlijke plek om tot rust te komen en de omgeving te ontdekken. Verhuurster heeft van het eiland een prachtige plek gemaakt met bomen, planten en bloemen. Op de ligstoelen op het vlonder zie je de watervogels en de ondergaande zon. Als het wat minder weer is, is het heerlijk in de hottub. En met de boot hebben we mooie tochten gemaakt. We komen vast nog eens terug!
