At Drenths Landgoed you are welcome to enjoy the beautiful surroundings where tranquility, dark starry nights and breathtaking sunsets are normal. At Drenths Landgoed you stay in one of the two former locker rooms of the local soccer club, in the picturesque village of Annerveenschekanaal. After the thorough renovation it is good to stay in the small, cozy apartment. Part of the fields is your garden, in the other part our horses graze. You have your own living room/kitchen, a bedroom and a spacious bathroom with shower and toilet. The apartment is equipped with two lovely box-spring beds that can be joined to form a generous double bed.

Annerveenschekanaal is a Veenkoloniaal ribbon village located 20 kilometers southeast of Groningen. The village is in the municipality of Aa and Hunze and has a protected village view. Annerveenschekanaal lies along the Grevelingkanaal. In former times, the peat cut around our village was transported through the canal to the city of Groningen and received the city's garbage in return. Enough reason for treasure hunters to scour the lands. Annerveenschekanaal is an example of ribbon development with many characteristic farms and workers' houses, hence the title Protected Villagescape. Across the Grevelingkanaal there are so-called swing and swing bridges. In the project "from peat shipping to touring shipping" the bridges were all made movable again and as much as possible restored in the old style. This makes the Grevelingkanaal navigable again.
