Our modernized forest house is a wonderful place for anyone who loves peace and nature. From the living room you can walk onto the, partially covered, terrace. Even if it rains, you can therefore sit, eat and BBQ dry! So the nature house is lovely both outside and inside and you feel connected to the forest. You walk from the bungalow for a lovely walk directly into the forest where, at dusk, you can spot the wildlife. Our bungalow is suitable for max 4 persons and has 3 bedrooms with 2 beds each. The upstairs bedroom is accessed via a steep staircase and has limited headroom. The modern and spacious kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher. Pillows and (single) comforters are provided, please bring your own bed and bath linen. You can make free use of a good ladies' and men's bicycle and there is also a Weber electric BBQ available.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the middle of the Vechtdal in a large forest between Ommen and Hardenberg. From the house you are directly on the extensive hiking and cycling network of the Vechtdal. The Vecht is always nearby and really beautiful. At the house you can enjoy the silence, the rustling of the trees and many, many birds, squirrels, rabbits and hares and of course the deer in the woods. The children can play nicely in the forest and there is a newly built playground. A 10-minute walk away, there is the camp store of the neighboring Little Wolf campsite (April through October). Nice for hot rolls for breakfast! A visit to one of the Hanseatic cities, Zwolle, Deventer, Doesburg or Zutphen is also worthwhile and in Ommen you can have a nice dinner. The cottage is not accessible by public transport so a car is convenient. There is also a charging station for electric vehicles at the bungalow. Ommen is about 20 minutes by bike or 8 minutes by car.

Mark December 29, 2025 General rating:Very nice and cozy cottage with everything you need as a family. Only the bathroom with toilet was awkwardly small so everything got wet when showering.
