The small-scale vacation park 't Eekhoornnest is located directly on the Soester dunes and on the edge of the Utrechtse heuvelrug, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the Netherlands. The area offers a perfect mix of peace, nature and activities for young and old.The park offers several facilities, including 2 playgrounds, wellness, sports field, table tennis table and direct access to the Soester dunes.The Soester nature reserve has many bicycle routes, mountain bike trails and hiking trails, and just one km away you will find several excellent restaurants in Soest and Amersfoort and a shopping center with a large supermarket. Within walking distance are an authentic cheese farm and museum farm, and Dierenpark Amersfoort, the forest pool and The National Military Museum also border "our" forest. Go for some fun miniature golf and then eat pancakes with the whole family in the picturesque village of Lage Vuursche or stroll through the medieval town of Amersfoort.
