Nature house in IJhorst

The cottage is fine. The beds are comfortable, and the linens and towels are clean. The bathroom has some limescale buildup, as evidenced by the showerhead that splashes water everywhere, which makes it look a bit shabby. In my opinion, the cottage is cleaned only superficially, and attention to detail is lacking.

Huisje is prima. Bedden zijn goed en beddengoed en handdoeken zijn schoon. Badkamer heeft wat last van kalk, te merken aan de douchekop die overal spettert, en daardoor ziet het er een beetje armoedig uit. Naar mening wordt het huisje oppervlakkig schoongemaakt en wordt er niet gelet op details.

Truly beautifully situated in the middle of the forest, though there were immediate neighbors—not quite what we expected. Surrounded by birds and squirrels. We had a wonderful time biking and hiking.

Landlord’s response:
That’s too bad! Thanks for the feedback. We’ve since had a thorough discussion with the cleaning staff, and we’ll pay close attention to this in the future.

Echt schitterend gelegen midden in het bos, echter wel directe buren, niet helemaal naar verwachting. Tussen de vogels en eekhoorntjes. Heerlijk gefietst en gewandeld.

Wat vervelend! Bedankt voor de feedback. We hebben inmiddels een goed gesprek gehad met de schoonmaak en we zullen in de toekomst hier nauwkeurig op letten.

Both at the park itself and in the immediate surroundings, it’s all about peace and quiet, beautiful nature, and total relaxation.

We felt that a midweek stay last June wasn’t long enough, so we’ve now opted for a week-long stay.
We’ve fallen in love with this house and the surrounding area, so we’ll definitely be back!

We highly recommend it in every way to anyone who loves peace, nature, and comfort.

Zowel op het park zelf als in de directe omgeving is het één en al rust, prachtige natuur, totale ontspanning.

Wij vonden een midweek in juni jl te kort, dus hebben nu gekozen voor een weekverblijf.
We hebben ons hart verloren asn dit huis én de omgeving, dus we komen zeker terug!

Het is in alle opzichten een aanrader voor iedereen die van rust, natuur en comfort houdt.

It's a spacious house, and it has absolutely everything you need. Plus, it stays nice and cool inside thanks to the thatched roof.

Het is een ruim huis en werkelijk alles is aanwezig. Het is bovendien lekker koel binnen door het rieten dak.

It’s a beautiful house in a very peaceful nature park. The garden is very green, with plenty of spots where you can sit in or out of the sun. Not only were there lots of different birds, but we also had a little hedgehog in the garden. We rented bikes (old-fashioned, not electric) and explored the area. We rode past the blooming heathland, beautiful little lakes, all the storks in the fields, and through the woods.

Het is een prachtig huis op een heel rustig natuurpark. De tuin is heel groen met vele plekken waar je in en uit de zon kunt zitten. Er waren niet alleen heel veel verschillende vogels, maar we hadden ook een egeltje in de tuin. We hebben fietsen gehuurd (ouderwets niet elektrisch) en de omgeving verkend. Langs de bloeiende hei, mooie meertjes, alle ooievaars in de velden en door de bossen.
