Nature house in Hürtgenwald

Next to our forester's lodge from 1856, right next to the forest, there is a small Nature house of about 120 square meters, with a view of our pastures, horses and fallow deer, two bedrooms each with a double bed, bathroom en suite on the first floor with bathtub, the bedroom upstairs also has a bathroom with shower and bathtub, there is also a guest toilet in the entrance. The spacious living room with fireplace and fitted kitchen as well as a dining area, with large window fronts let the nature always be there, sometimes deer come from the forest to visit, so do not be frightened if they walk past the living room ... We operate a solar system and a biological sewage treatment plant, the chickens produce our eggs and the compost heap generates good soil for our vegetable beds. We are happy to welcome guests who share our desire to live as close as possible to nature. Bed linen, towels and kitchen towels are provided and there is wood for the fireplace behind the house.

The Rureifel and especially the historic Hürtgenwald are an ideal hiking, cycling and riding area, dams, Nideggen Castle and Monschau invite you to go on excursions, the climbing rocks of Nideggen are only a few kilometers away. You can also arrive with your own horses, a guest horse paddock is available and the forest with a gigantic riding area starts right outside our door...
