This is a clean eco-friendly guest house located on our olive farm. We have everything you need for a comfortable self catering stay any season. The house itself is on the edge of our oak forest overlooking the village. Wake up to a fresh coffee/cold juice on the veranda whilst hearing the bird song. Did you know oak tree's are home to the most diverse nature? See if you can spot our resident Hoopoes! We are regenerating the land with permaculture principles in mind and are currently planting a food forest so if you are green fingered you are welcome to join us and plant a tree! Fresh farm eggs and home grown organic olive oil is also available.

The naturehouse is located in the beautiful village of Avô famous for it's stunning river beach (a pleasant 15 minute walk). Also in the area there are many other wild swimming spots, waterfalls and jaw dropping scenery 15-45 minutes drive. We are located on the edge of both Serra da Estrella and Serra do Açor national parks. Here you can try rock climbing, horse riding, mountain biking, hiking and canoeing. There are often holistic and crafting workshops going on in the area, and if we are lucky there is a monthly market with artisans selling hand crafted gifts and eco-friendly self care products. If total relaxation is on your agenda we can arrange a massage from the comfort of your own house. Depending on the type of massage you prefer we can call upon our professionals from the local area.
