This stylish accommodation is perfect for a family, who wants to enjoy luxury in the beautiful nature of the Beemster (Unesco World Heritage). On the North Holland Canal between two forts of the Defence Line of Amsterdam, you will find Huize Leeghwater. The accommodation consists of 2 buildings. The former barn has been stylishly converted into 2 unique spaces. On the ground floor is a large kitchen with outdoor terrace, where you can lounge & eat with fantastic views. The floor is a spiritual space, where classes or retreats are held. Adjacent are 4 studios for 2 people. 4-person sauna in the garden house. You can go hiking, biking or visit nice towns in the area. The site is approximately 3.5 hectares. There is an apiary, vegetable garden with a fireplace and pizza oven and in the meadow grazes a herd of sheep. If desired, we provide organic and vegetarian meals, whose ingredients are mostly from our own vegetable garden.

The accommodation is located in the most beautiful spot in the Beemster, right on the North Holland Canal. From here you can enjoy hiking or biking (these are available for free). In the vicinity there is much to do and see. Take a trip on a whisper boat through the Eilandspolder or get a breath of fresh air at the beach in Castricum. There are also numerous historic towns within 15 minutes by car to reach as Purmerend, Marken, Volendam, Edam and Hoorn. The Zaanse Schans is also highly recommended. But of course you can also enjoy the peace and quiet and nature on the property. Enjoy reading in the vegetable garden or start a fire. Cool off in the North Holland Canal. If desired, you can also book a massage, breathing session, Chineng Qigong or Yoga lesson, this all takes place on the spiritual floor. Please do let us know in advance.
