Nature house in Barsingerhorn

The nature house is a simple but comfortable cottage, suitable for two people. It is an extension of the farmhouse. It has downstairs a dining-sitting room with open kitchen, a hall with toilet and shower. Upstairs is a spacious bedroom with a separate sitting area. A sliding door opens onto a terrace followed by a spacious lawn. The nature house is a newly built cottage on the spot where cows were milked long ago. It stands on the sunny side of our cheese-cover farm in the elegant village of Barsingerhorn, situated between Schagen and the former fishing village of Kolhorn. From the cottage you overlook our hedged vegetable and flower garden.

The cottage is located on the outside of the village in a quiet area. The area lends itself more to cycling than walking. The beach is not far away. For bird lovers, the North Holland head is a must, especially in spring and autumn during migration. The coast, the Wells, the Zwanenwater (which is again a beautiful walk) and more inland the water storage areas along the West Frisian sea dyke, the Foreshore at Medemblik, it does not stop. The nature house is also the ideal starting point for cyclists.
