It’s situated on a spacious private lot of 2,000 m², of which 1,200 m² is garden and 800 m² is forest. If you’re looking for a place where you can truly unwind, our nature house is perfect for you. It’s wonderfully quiet here. The nature house’s backyard borders the vast Boswachterij Gees nature reserve, so you can walk right from the nature house into the nature reserve. If you’re looking for a park with lots of activities and entertainment, you’d be better off looking a bit further. But if you’re looking for a place where there’s plenty to do in the surrounding area but where you can find peaceful relaxation “at home,” then this is a great fit. There’s a cozy and excellent restaurant right in the park. The interior of our cottage has been completely renovated. You’ll have access to a large kitchen where you can even unpack your groceries. It’s wonderful to relax both indoors and outdoors. Outside, you can play in the garden, relax on the patio, or lounge in your hammock; inside, you can enjoy the living room, kitchen, or the cozy loft. And there’s a good chance you’ll spot squirrels while you’re having breakfast.

Of course, you can enjoy endless walking and/or biking in the beautiful nature reserves of Drenthe. But there’s even more to do. Enjoy shopping at the indoor mall in Emmen (25 min), amusement parks: Slagharen (18 min), Wildlands Zoo (25 min), Plopsa (17 min), Drouwenerzand (35 min), Kabouterland Exloo (27 min). Play forest. Aalden Swimming Pool (15 min), laser tag, escape room, go-karting, etc. You can also visit Orvelte, drive or bike along the Hunebed Route, take covered wagon rides, tractor tours, and more. Too many to list. There is a folder with brochures about activities in the cottage. The price includes final cleaning and bedding. The beds are made. Not provided—please bring your own: towels, kitchen towels, tea towels, dishcloths.
