R October 22, 2025 General rating:We had a few nice days in Rekem. The cottage has a nice location; nice among the trees. You are not bothered by the neighbors even though you are in a park. The squirrels even shot past the windows once. The pellet stove gives pleasant warmth on cold days. The kitchen and bathroom are adequate. However, sometimes something was still dirty (sometimes it sticks when you have a full load of dishes). I really did not like the beds and pillows; the pillow is very flat and the mattresses very hard, not fitting on the bed and with a large seam. The latter is of course personal; contact with the landlord was good.
We hebben een paar leuke dagen gehad in Rekem. Het huisje heeft een mooie ligging; lekker tussen de bomen. Je hebt geen last van de buren ook al zit je op een park. De eekhoorntjes schoten zelfs een keer langs de ramen. De pelletkachel geeft aangename warmte op de koude dagen. De keuken en badkamer voldoen. Wel was soms nog iets vies (soms blijft het plakken als je een volle vaatwas hebt). De bedden en de kussen vond ik echt niet lekker liggen; het kussen is heel plat en de matrassen erg hard, niet passend op het bed en met een grote naad. Dat laatste is natuurlijk persoonlijk.
