The nature house is located in beautiful Härjedalen - a very nice place to experience the tranquility of nature. The nature house is located directly on the edge of the forest and is your starting point for excursions, hiking, fishing, and paddling tours. Tours and hikes with our huskies can be booked separately upon request. Staying at our forest farm is a nature-oriented experience for the whole family! Children can get to know the animals and the farm up close: Pigs, highland cattle, goats, and free-range chickens live in the forest. Soon there will also be a dairy cow in the family. As farmers, we are partially self-sufficient and appreciate a lifestyle in harmony with nature. The cottage can accommodate 5 people and is equipped with everything you need for self-sufficiency. For hot water supply in the kitchen and shower, the hot water boiler is filled directly from the house's own well. We are looking forward to your visit!
Nature and surroundings
The guests of the nature house have at their disposal a whole house with a cozy kitchen with good equipment (stove, kettle, coffee maker, refrigerator, dishes, etc.). There is a possibility to do laundry a few minutes away. The nature house has two comfortable bedrooms, a shower cabin. The landlords live only a few minutes walk away, so you as a guest are undisturbed. The view from the windows shows either the spacious garden or the adjacent forest. The landlords give their guests a warm welcome and show them around the accommodation, and if needed, they are also happy to give information about possible activities. The village of Sveg is 30 kilometers away - here you will find a beautiful church, a few small stores, a pastry store (highly recommended), supermarkets, a swimming pool (with sauna) and in winter also a ski stadium.

The cottage is very primitive, you have to love that and was not clear to us from the ad: compost toilet with sawdust in wooden shack, no running water, shower pumped from a jerry can. Some husky dogs of the owners were soon inside barking, which really startled our kids (while they liked the idea of dogs around). If you want back to basics you've come to the right place, but we found it really not suitable for a family with children and therefore booked something else on the spot. Het huisje is erg primitief, daar moet je van houden en was ons niet duidelijk geworden uit de advertentie: compost wc met zaagsel in houten hokje, geen stromend water, douche met pomp vanuit een jerrycan. Een aantal husky honden van de eigenaren stond al snel binnen te blaffen, waar onze kinderen erg van schrokken (terwijl ze het idee van honden in de buurt op zich wel leuk vonden). Als je back to basic wil ben je aan het goede adres, maar wij vonden het echt niet geschikt voor een gezin met kinderen en hebben daarom ter plekke iets anders geboekt.
