This thatched 1930s nature house is completely detached and equipped with various conveniences. Four bedrooms (two double and two single rooms), a separate bathroom (shower and bath) and toilet on the second floor. Downstairs, a spacious dining room adjoins the kitchen. The living room with French doors adjoins the garden with beautiful views over the countryside and a large pond. Next to the pond graze our sheep, which appreciate a little attention. Depending on the time of year, the greenhouse in the courtyard offers plenty of choice to enrich the food. A covered outdoor kitchen with gas barbecue and fireplace ensure that much of the summer can be spent outdoors. Trampoline, swing and rack are there for children.
Nature and surroundings
In the outskirts of Leusden/Achterveld lies the Stoutenburg estate. Adjacent to this estate is our property. A small 2 hectare garden, forest and pond with several terraces. On the grounds runs a wooden shoe path. In the vicinity are various walking and cycling opportunities. The Central Station of Amersfoort is 15 minutes by bike. From there a direct train leaves for Amsterdam Central Station (30 min).
