The cottage in Rekem is a nice cottage where you can rest and relax. In addition, you can use various materials to be creative. You can sculpt, paint, write, model or whatever you want to do creatively. There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature and your dog (maximum one dog) is also welcome. The changeover day is Saturday.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is on a green park, adjacent to nature reserve De Hoge Kempen. This is a large vacation park but the cottage is at the very back at the end of a dead-end street. You can see the forest in front of you and you have a spacious green bird-friendly garden around the house. Around the corner from the cottage is a large lake with several beaches and swimming opportunities. There is a small playground and a fine restaurant with terrace, The Boathouse. Behind it begins Nature Reserve De Hoge Kempen where you can enjoy cycling and walking. At the entrance to the park you will find 'De Kleine Honger', a newly opened brasserie, a fine catering establishment with a large terrace. The cozy town of Oud Rekem is just around the corner and Maastricht is only 10 kilometers away.
