Nature house in Winkel

The house itself is great. A large kitchen, nice living room and nice bedrooms with good beds and a great shower. Furthermore, it is great to sit outside on several terraces and under the roof. Only real point of criticism: the landing is very dangerous without a stair gate. As a vacation guest you are not familiar with another landing. If you walk from one of the bedrooms to the bathroom and you do not pay attention (there is also a step there) then you fall into the stairwell. We therefore used the basket on the landing as a partition between stairwell and bedroom. Furthermore, we found it unfortunate that we could not use the boat because the locks are completely full of the infamous aquarium plants which causes the propeller to jam. Please ask when booking if the boat can be used. We learned this only after booking, but this was met by the landlord.

Het huis zelf is geweldig. Een grote woonkeuken, fijne woonkamer en fijne slaapkamers met goede bedden en een prima douche. Verder is het heerlijk buiten zitten op meerdere terrassen en onder de overkapping. Enige echte punt van kritiek: de overloop vinden wij heel erg gevaarlijk zo zonder traphek. Als vakantiegast ben je niet vertrouwd met een andere overloop. Loop je vanuit een van de slaapkamers naar de badkamer en je let niet helemaal goed op (er is daar ook nog een opstapje) dan val je het trapgat in. Wij hebben de mand die op de overloop staat daarom gebruikt als afscheiding tussen trapgat en slaapkamer.

Verder vonden we het jammer dat we de boot niet konden gebruiken doordat de sloten helemaal vol zitten met de beruchte aquariumplanten waardoor de schroef gaat vastlopen. Vraag bij boeking na of de boot wel gebruikt kan worden. Wij vernamen dit pas na boeking, maar daaraan is door de verhuurder wel tegemoet gekomen.

Fantastic house where you are surrounded by the cows and sheep. Completely a quiet environment it is not. The main N-road which is at the end of the meadows is somewhat audible. The house is nicely centrally located in Nood-Holland so that with a short travel time you are as close to the North Sea beach as to the Wadden Sea side. Enough fun things to do in the area for a very nice vacation.

Fantastisch huis waarbij je omringd wordt door de koeien en de schapen. Helemaal een stille omgeving is het niet. De doorgaande N-weg die aan het eind van de weilanden ligt, is wel wat hoorbaar. Het huis is mooi centraal in Nood-Holland gelegen waardoor je met een korte reistijd zo aan het Noordzeestrand bent als aan de Waddenzeekant. Genoeg leuke dingen te beleven in de omgeving voor een hele fijne vakantie.
