Nature house in Dalen (dorp)

Our vacation home is located between Dalen, Coevorden and Zwinderen on the canal Coevorden-Zwinderen which is connected to the Extended Hoogeveen Canal. From the house you have a great view over the countryside and the canal. With a private driveway, entrance and garden you can enjoy peace and quiet. The canal is ideal for fishing and there is even a jetty that can be used. Also a nice piece of boating is one of the possibilities. We have a dairy farm. Our cows are milked by robots, also called a VMS (Voluntary Milking System) system. During your stay with us a guided tour (if you like) should not be missed and we will proudly tell you about our company.

In the surrounding area there are numerous attractions in the form of art, culture, history and nature. In places like Dalen, Gees, Zwinderen, Nieuwlande, Erm, Sleen and many more. Actually too many to mention because each place has its own unique beauty and attraction. Also seasonal activities such as the summer markets in Dalen (the village between the windmills), the Drenthe Cycle Day and the Port Days in Coevorden are definitely worth a visit. For vacationers who love hiking, Drenthe is the province par excellence. Taking a lovely walk in one of the various national parks in the area is definitely recommended. But also the area around the vacation home offers many hiking opportunities. But of course also in terms of cycling Drenthe is the cycling province with its variety of routes through the extensive network of nodes. You can pick up one of the many node routes from the house.
