Our tastefully furnished, spacious bungalow, equipped with air conditioning in the living room and bedroom, is situated on a spacious plot of 1750 m2 own land and adjacent to a large meadow overlooking the forest edge of the Wapserveense veld. With the very quiet location of our bungalow near Diever, surrounded by greenery, you will fully enjoy your privacy and nature. From the nature house you can walk or cycle into the woods for beautiful trips through the versatile nature of Drenthe. Our bungalow has large windows all around, allowing you to experience the strong connection with the surrounding nature inside. The bungalow is contemporary and tastefully decorated and fully equipped. There are several seating areas and a cozy conservatory with patio doors to the garden, a large terrace and the garden is equipped with garden lighting. Our bungalow has a very spacious double bedroom with large windows, air conditioning and a beautiful view of the adjacent field and forest.
Nature and surroundings
Our bungalow is adjacent to the National Park Dwingelderveld and the National Park Drents Friese Wold. Endless walking and cycling is possible from our house; you walk or cycle straight into the woods! The nearby villages of Diever and Dwingeloo are pleasant destinations and have various catering establishments. From our bungalow in Wittelte there are possibilities to go to Groningen, Friesland and Overijssel. A visit to the Drents Museum in Assen, the Weerribben / Giethoorn, the Shakespeare plays in the outdoor theater of Diever, the surrounding National Parks and extensive hiking and biking; all elements that make a visit to Wittelte very worthwhile. You can swim in the Bosbad of nearby Vledder, or in the outdoor pools of Havelte and Dwingeloo. The Colonies of Weldadigheid in Frederiksoord and the Veenkolonie of Veenhuizen have recently been named UNESCO World Heritage Sites and are well worth visiting.
