The nature house is an energy neutral farmhouse, A unique place to recover and enjoy the peace and quiet. You will stay in a luxury studio with its own entrance. The living room is combined with a beautiful, well-equipped kitchen. The EcoLinde bed, made of core beech wood, offers the perfect support through the use of natural materials. The luxurious bathroom has a water-saving rain shower. You have access to the garden from the studio, with use of the grill and barbecue. The guest house is equipped for 2 people as standard. For a party of up to 4 people, an extra bedroom in the farmhouse can be used in consultation, at extra cost. Upon arrival, fresh fruit & vegetables or any other (organic) products may be ready for you at cost, purchased from local (organic) suppliers, and growers. You can combine your stay with a yoga class. Nothing must and nothing goes!
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in Erm, in the rural peace and quiet of De Hondsrug, the southeastern part of Drenthe. The Hondsrug was formed millions of years ago by the interplay of forces between ice, wind and water. The sand ridges and stream valleys of the Drentse Aa and the Hunze characterize the unique, geographical history of this area. Cyclists and hikers enjoy the area around Erm. Sleenerzand is a nature reserve in the immediate vicinity. An area with drifting sand interspersed with moors and fens which invites for a walk or bike ride. The 6th stage of the Pieterpad runs straight through Drenthe, from Schoonloo to Sleen. Sleen is less than 2 km from the nature house. Drenthe and the surroundings of Erm offer plenty of other cycling and walking routes. Close to Erm is the Van Gogh house in Nieuw-Amsterdam. Emmen is 15 minutes away from Erm. There are good restaurants in the immediate vicinity of The Nature House.
