Stay overnight in a unique spot in the Brabant countryside, located in the centuries-old hamlet of Straten. Our nostalgic and comfortable cottages are situated in this historic setting, surrounded by nature. The cottages are fully equipped with everything you need, including a kitchenette and bathroom. Each cottage can accommodate two adults and, if desired, two children. The wood-fired outdoor hot tub, the outdoor wood-fired oven, and bicycles are available for rent at an additional cost, subject to availability. The prices are as follows: - Heated outdoor hot tub (2 people): 50 euros per day, including firewood; - Outdoor oven: 15 euros per day, including firewood; - Bicycles: 10 euros per day per bicycle. From the estate, there are countless hiking and biking trails through the surrounding nature. Not only is it located in the heart of Het Groene Woud and near the De Kampina nature reserve, but it’s also part of the Brabantse Kempen—one of the most beloved regions in the Netherlands. Enjoy history and charm It’s also close to the charming and historic village of Oirschot. As a “Monument in ’t Groen” (Monument in the Green), the village boasts over three hundred historic landmarks. Oirschot is full of hidden gems—whether around the Markt, in Spoordonk or De Beerzen, or in the vast countryside. With narrow streets and two beautiful churches in the center, two protected village vistas, hidden culinary surprises, and cultural secrets.
