Would you like to stay at a unique farmhouse and enjoy beautiful green surroundings? Then this B&B is the perfect place for you! We’ve converted the old barn into two beautiful apartments. Together, they sleep 10 people, but thanks to the building’s unique design, it’s also possible to rent the space as two separate apartments. This lovely spot on the old farmyard makes guests feel right at home, where they can relax, enjoy themselves, and recharge. The B&B apartments are located right in the middle of the tulip fields. In the colorful bulb-growing region, you’ll be surrounded by countless scents and colors in the spring; every season offers wonderful walks in the Pettermerbos; and of course, you can enjoy the North Holland coast with its wide beaches and green dunes all year round. From the Bed & Beleving, it’s just 1 kilometer to Petten Beach. Here, you can get some fresh air and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings.
Nature and surroundings
The B&B is located between Schagen and Alkmaar: two vibrant cities full of character, with cozy outdoor cafes, restaurants, and plenty of activities. For example, Schagen hosts its traditional West Frisian market during the summer months, and Alkmaar is, of course, famous for its traditional cheese market. The beautiful towns of Camperduin and Schoorl, with their stunning natural scenery, dunes, forests, and beaches, are also close to the B&B. A day trip to one of our Wadden Islands, such as Texel, is easily doable. Below is a small selection of fun things to do in the area; for more information, please visit the relevant websites. Or perhaps you’re more interested in nature—such as mountain biking or horseback riding in Schoorl, (sea) fishing, birdwatching in the beautiful Harger Polder, or the Zwanenwater nature reserve in Callantsoog—these are just a few of the many options available in our area.
