In the yard of the 19th-century stolp farmhouse you will find this authentic vacation home for two.The cottage, furnished with care and love, is a perfect base for lovers of the North Holland coast with its wide beaches, vast polder landscape and unique forest and dune area. Surrounded by greenery, you will be woken in the morning by the birds, while you stretch out once more in the comfortable queen-size bed. Catch the spring and summer sun on your own terrace or in the freely accessible 2,000-square-meter private garden, or nestle on the couch in front of the fireplace with a book and a good glass of wine in autumn and winter. The house is the place to get away from it all together and enjoy peace and nature.
Nature and surroundings
Nowhere is nature more multifaceted than on the North Holland coast, where the polder landscape flows seamlessly into a vast forest and dune area extending to wide and expansive beaches. At the beginning of many hiking trails lies the highest dune in the Netherlands. After climbing the stairs you will find a breathtaking view of forest, heath, polder and you can already see the sea. Discover the Kerf, the open stretch in the dunes where the sea has free play at high tide. Or go in search of the idyllic Vogelmeer in the dunes. Feel free to call it the "Dutch Hamptons. The municipality of Bergen, which includes Schoorl, exudes an atmosphere of art, good food and culture. With Alkmaar close by for an urban feel, you can head in all directions from the Garden House toward exhibitions, terraces and venues. An up-to-date overview of the best seasonal activities in the area is, of course, always there for you. And if not, there's always Netflix by the fireplace!

Verrassend alles smaakvol ingericht in een ruimte. Ruimte ook niet te vol.
Mooie wandelingen gemaakt in de duinen van Schoorl naar de zee. Wel veel mul zand en hellingen maar met een redelijke conditie goed te doen.

Het Natuurhuisje had alles om te kunnen genieten van de vakantie in eigen land. Van een groot tweepersoonsbed, een Nespresso-machine, fluitketel, een heerlijke tuin met uitzicht op een weiland met paarden tot aan een fijn bureau om aan te zitten. Wij misten echt helemaal niks!
Verder is er heel dichtbij een bushalte waar je de bus kan nemen naar station Alkmaar, mocht je daar een dag naartoe willen gaan. Als je met de auto komt, kan je (op loopafstand van het Natuurhuisje) vrij parkeren. Bergen en Bergen aan Zee zijn met de auto goed te bereiken. Lunchen bij een van de cafés rondom de Ruïnekerk of ontbijten bij Strandpaviljoen Noord is erg leuk. Schoorl is ook prima te verkennen door rond te wandelen!Het was een ontzettend fijn vakantieweekend in het heerlijke natuurhuisje. Vanaf het huisje heb je toegang tot een riante tuin waar je meerdere heerlijke zitplekjes vind. Het gebruik kunnen maken van de kruidentuin voelde als een extra cadeautje!

Erg mooi huisje, smaakvol ingericht, knus en heel erg schoon. En wat je ook nodig hebt, het ontbreekt er werkelijk aan niets.
Prachtig diepe bostuin met veel privacy, dit alles op steenworp afstand van de mooie brede Schoorlse duinen en het strand
