Nature house in Möhnesee

Really a very nice stay in a beautiful nature house. Incredibly convenient to retreat into nature and unwind.

Echt een heel fijn verblijf in een mooi natuurhuisje. Ontzettend geschikt om je terug te trekken in de natuur en om tot rust te komen.

We stayed in a very cozy nature house in a yard with a few other cottages. The yard is enclosed with a fence. This cottage is at the back of the property, giving you plenty of privacy. The cottage is all wood and has a bedroom, living room and bathroom. It is heated with a wood stove, but they went to work installing an electric stove after we left. We enjoyed relaxing here with the dog. The area is also suitable for hiking, but you have to walk quite a bit before you really get into a beautiful natural area. So a car is handy. The cottage sits near a lake that was largely frozen in winter. We walked a lap around the lake several times with the dog, but then you walk quite a bit along a busy highway. I further wanted to cook in the cottage, it is well equipped with an oven and microwave, but kitchen utensils were a bit lacking. Fortunately, I was able to borrow some from the owner.

We verbleven in een heel knus natuurhuisje op een erf met enkele andere huisjes. Het erf is afgesloten met een hek. Dit huisje staat achteraan op het terrein, waardoor je genoeg privacy hebt. Het huisje is volledig van hout en heeft een slaapkamer, woonkamer en badkamer. Het wordt verwarmd met een houtkachel, maar ze gingen na ons vertrek aan de slag met het installeren van een elektrische kachel. We hebben hier heerlijk kunnen ontspannen met de hond. De omgeving is ook geschikt om te wandelen, maar je moet wel een eindje lopen voordat je echt in een mooi natuurgebied terecht komt. Een auto is dus handig. Het huisje zit vlakbij een meer dat in de winter grotendeels bevroren was. We hebben met de hond meermaals een ronde om het meer gelopen, maar dan loop je wel een heel stuk langs een drukke autoweg. Ik wilde verder graag koken in het huisje, het is goed ingericht met een oven en magnetron, maar keukengerei schoot een beetje tekort. Gelukkig kon ik wat lenen van de eigenaresse.

The cottage exceeded all expectations. Unfortunately the weather was not with us but the fireplace was a relief. Cottage is fully equipped and spacious. Fine shower and comfortable beds. Recommended in terms of quality / quantity ratio. Many walks nearby even starting at the cottage. Beautiful diversity of nature and beautiful rolling countryside. Both walking and cycling are among the possibilities. Soest, at minimal driving distance is a beautiful characteristic Hanseatic town nearby. Distance in Germany within proportions. Very friendly hostess

Het huisje overtrof alle verwachtingen. Helaas zat het weer niet mee maar de open haard was een verademing. Huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien en ruim qua indeling. Fijne douche en heerlijke bedden. Aanrader wat betreft kwaliteit / kwantiteits verhouding. Heel veel wandelingen in de buurt zelfs startend bij het huisje.
Mooie diversiteit aan natuur en prachtig glooiend landschap. Zowel wandelen als fietsen behoren tot de mogelijkheden. Soest , op minimale rij-afstand is een mooi karakteristiek Hanzestadje in de buurt.
