This lovely vacation home is in Chãos, 15 km from Tomar in the rustic center of Portugal. Where it is great for hiking, culture, eating, sunbathing and swimming. As soon as you enter the nature house you see what you have come for: a tastefully and colorfully decorated vacation home. You step directly into a complete kitchen, find the first bedroom on your left and walk straight into the living room. Here you can sit cosily by the wood stove in winter, but in fine weather you can walk on to the large sunny terrace! Meanwhile, have you seen the modern bathroom on the right? And down those stairs to the romantic master bedroom which has its own terrace? If the terrace is a little too sunny, you can always find a shady spot in the garden overlooking the meadow. You can even take a cooling shower there, next to the typical Portuguese outdoor kitchen with barbecue!

In the immediate vicinity of the house you can make beautiful walks, in the house you will find several route descriptions. At 10 minutes drive you will find AGROAL, a funny little river beach with several terraces. Also nearby is DORNES, a nice village with a small beach where you can swim. The Atlantic coast is not far. NAZARÉ is a must, famous among surfers for its spectacular waves. Fifteen minutes away is TOMAR, a friendly, historic town with nice terraces, cafes and restaurants. You can visit the famous Convento de Cristo or the impressive Aqueduto dos Pegões. In 45 minutes you can drive to COIMBRA, Portugal's oldest university town and well worth a visit. LISSABON is about fifteen minutes drive and PORTO two hours, but it is also very nice to visit these cities from Tomar by (very affordable) train.
