Welcome to Hoeven! Here, you’ll leave the stress of everyday life behind in no time. Back to basics! Just like in the old days: a small cabin, the (pellet) stove lit. No computers or social media for a while. There is Wi-Fi, though, if you really can’t do without it. Art on the walls. You can help yourself to as much coffee and tea as you like. No stove provided. Bedding, towels, and kitchen linens are provided free of charge. Kids can play soccer. You’ll sleep in the box bed, with a view of the meadow, and in the morning you’ll wake up with the sun shining on your face! Your kids (or adventurous friends) will sleep in the cozy open loft. Take a morning stroll through the dew-kissed grass in the morning sun, and for the brave among us, take a refreshing dip in the swimming pond. Especially in the spring months, this kind of (ice) swimming is a real boost for both body and mind! During the day, you can head out and explore. A drawing workshop is also available. In the evening, round off the day with a glass of wine as the sun sets. If you’d like, you can use the infrared sauna for free. In the summer, we even do yoga in the garden sometimes!

Within walking distance, you’ll find the Pagnevaart forests, the fitness trail, and, of course, the Splesh water play park: a delight for families with young children! At Seppe Airport, you can check out (old) airplanes. There are also plenty of bike routes through the Rucphen forests or across the polder toward Zevenbergen. In Oudenbosch, you’ll find the Arboretum, the Zouave and Ethnographic Museum, and the beautiful basilica. In Hoeven, a visit to the Bovendonk Seminary is well worth it! There are also plenty of restaurants in the area. Bicycles (including electric ones) are available for rent in the village. Roosendaal, Bergen op Zoom, Willemstad, Breda, and Antwerp are all easily accessible by car or public transportation. Boating on the Biesbosch. Shopping in Etten-Leur or Breda, or relaxing at a cozy outdoor café—there’s something for everyone!
