Nature house in Terschelling Lies

The b&B is located in the middle of the village of Lies, on the east side of Terschelling. The farmhouse is equipped with double room with private bathroom. The large living loft on the 1st floor gives a panoramic view of polder and Wadden Sea. Behind the farm you share a south-facing terrace and meadow with various meadow birds (lapwing, black-tailed godwit, redshank and oystercatcher). At night when all these co-users sleep a clear starry sky. At a distance of only 1 kilometer is the Wadden dike. At night you look out to the mainland and see the lights of Harlingen sparkle. Walk, bike or drive 2.5 kilometers to the north side of the island and you will find yourself with your feet in the soft sand of the widest Dutch beaches. Be warned: taking beach walks, with the wind in your hair and the salty air in your lungs is very addictive.

Terschelling the middle island in the Wadden Sea. Unesco World Heritage Site. Diverse in landscape. Beach, dunes, forest, polder, salt marshes and mud flats. Also a great diversity in flora and fauna. Throughout the year Terschelling is a haven for many birds. In summer many spoonbills behind the dike at low tide and sometimes a seal lying in the sun.
