It’s wonderful to wake up by the water… even in the fall and winter. The beautiful colors and festive decorations during the holidays add an extra touch. Our cottage features a private garden with a spacious dock right on the water. Unwind and enjoy the privacy of your own garden on the banks of the Kromme Mijdrecht. This rustic location, with its panoramic views of the polder and water landscape in the heart of the Green Heart, is the ideal fishing spot and serves as an excellent base for delightful cycling and hiking trips around the many ponds and lakes. You can park your bike in our secure bike shed. There are several good restaurants nearby, and of course, you can also have food delivered. The cottage is fully equipped, and the price includes a comprehensive linen package and cleaning. Pets are allowed by arrangement. Nature and surroundings
Enjoy the beautiful surroundings all year round. Our nature house is tucked away in the Green Heart of the Randstad. The area has been designated a National Landscape due to its internationally rare or unique scenic, natural, and recreational qualities. The goal is to preserve these qualities and enhance them wherever possible. The Green Heart is almost entirely surrounded by the “Randstad cities” of Amsterdam, Utrecht, and Gouda, and its varied and predominantly rural character serves as a counterpoint to the urban areas. The green zones, with their abundant forests and waterways for recreation and fishing, connect the Green Heart to other green areas in the Netherlands. The four (core) nature reserves—De Venen (location of the nature house), the Krimpenerwaard, Vechtplassen, and Hollandse Plassen—are interconnected via green corridors and farmland, the old peat meadow area..., the Green Heart itself. Unfortunately, we didn’t get any bites from carp, but using the method feeder, we caught about 50 bream, roach, and rudd. So it’s a great spot for anglers. wat een prachtige plek , alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig , huisje is groot zat en er is airco wat zeer prettig was met 35 gr , gewoon de hele dag aan en het blijft binnen heerlijk koel waardoor we hem snachts niet aan hoefte te zetten. wij hebben de klamboe gebruikt omdat er behoorlijk veel muggen binnen zitten maar dat kan je verwachten op een plek aan het water , hebben er met de klamboe weinig last van gehad. wij waren er alleen om te vissen en dat is top , ruimte genoeg voor 2 man en 4 hengels , mooi vrij van waterlelies en loopt van anderhalve meter aan de kant tot ongeveer 3 a 4 meter in de vaargeul , voor de kenners een toplood gebruiken als je aan de overkant vist dan zijn de vele bootjes geen probleem en leuk om naar te kijken , helaas op de karper geen aanbeet gehad maar met de method feeder ongeveer 50 brasems , blank en ruisvoorns gevangen. dus een top plek voor vissers. eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk en je kan alles vragen, heerlijke prive plek en één en al rust.
