Guests who stayed here find the surroundings fantastic for
Cycling Hiking

A charming, rural vacation home in the heart of the beautiful Vecht Valley. Features a living room, kitchen, entryway, bathroom, and separate toilet on the ground floor, and a private garden/patio and 3 bedrooms on the first floor. Bicycles can be stored in the log cabin. Coffee and tea are provided. COVID-safe thanks to all the private facilities in the vacation home and your own section of the garden/yard. You might occasionally run into our sweet cat, Dotje, in the yard. And our friendly German Shepherd, Sepp, guards our yard and only roams freely when we’re around. We love sharing our beautiful spot with our guests!

You’ll find plenty of lively activity in Ommen and Hardenberg (10 and 8 km away, respectively). The De Oldemeijer swimming pond and the surrounding forest are 5 km away. There are many beautiful walks to take in the area. And it’s also nice that there are plenty of places to eat out nearby.

The fact that the bathroom was downstairs instead of next to the bedroom was the only downside for my husband; otherwise, it would have been a ten!

    Nature, peace & environment: 5 /5

A wonderfully peaceful location, a fully equipped cottage with a beautiful patio.
We even saw some fawns one evening while we were sitting outside.

Nice house—everything we needed was there. Beautiful garden with plenty of places to sit. A big plus: screens on all the windows.
We also really enjoyed the company of Sepp the dog and Dotje the cat.
We’ll definitely be back here again!

    Nature, peace & environment: 5 /5

A lovely setting, peaceful, on the edge of a beautiful forest, and always something to see: hares, fawns, and beautiful birds, including buzzards.
