Welcome to Nijensleek, a village of about 600 inhabitants in southwest Drenthe in close proximity to nature, picturesque villages and historical monuments. Our B&B is very suitable to stay with several people (2-5 persons). It is an independent apartment with a spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen and 2 spacious bathrooms. The B&B consists of the entire front part of the farmhouse and has its own entrance. A wonderful place to stay with lots of privacy and a wide range of tourist activities about which we are happy to inform you. If you want to cycle in our beautiful surroundings, you can rent 2 bikes from us and nearby is a bike rental company that offers various types of bikes. The decoration of Bed & Breakfast 54 is fresh and modern and in the backyard is a private terrace where you can enjoy the sunset. Breakfast is available upon request at an additional cost. Our heat pump provides summer coolness and winter warmth.
Nature and surroundings
Nijensleek is located on a connecting road between many picturesque villages, on the border of Drenthe, Overijssel and Friesland and close to beautiful nature reserves. Along the B&B runs a bicycle path, part of more than 1200 kilometers of bicycle paths that the province of Drenthe is rich. There is plenty to do for the whole family. Events, museums, fairs, concerts, exhibitions, displays and many monuments tell the unique story of the Colonies of Weldadigheid. Culture, nature, peace and space come together here and ensure that your stay is a pleasant and surprising experience. The Drents-Friese Wold is 3.5 km away and with its many fens and sand drifts is an attractive recreational area. National Park The Dwingelderveld, the largest wet moorland in Europe, is 16 km away. De Weerribben and De Wieden are 17 km away. A unique water area to explore by rental boat, on foot or by bicycle.
