This uniquely located 5-person forest cottage in Steenbergen Drenthe is the ideal place to unwind. The nature house stands freely in the woods, not located on a park. The cozy living room has recently been modernized. The cottage has central heating and there is digitenne TV. Upon arrival, the beds are made, but you must bring your own towels. There is no wifi so do not forget to bring a good book to relax offline. There are 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1: 2-bed 160x200 Bedroom 2: 2 1-person beds. Bedroom 3: 1 single bed. Step out the door for a nice walk in the woods or grab a bike for one of the many beautiful bike routes. For art and culture are the cities of Groningen, Assen and Drachten. If you come by public transport you can use an OV cab at a reasonable rate.

We had two wonderful weeks in the nature house. Really a nice place with nature, peace and quiet and enough play areas for the kids. In the heat wave the cottage stayed quite cool and that was great for our sleep. The beds of the kids were top, the double bed has a very soft mattress, you have to love that ;). We did a lot of biking, hiking and swimming in beautiful places in nature. The only downside was the dirt road towards the house, not doable for our normal bikes.... but walking or the path along the nephune bed also worked.
We hadden twee heerlijke weken in het natuurhuisje. Echt een fijne plek met natuur, rust en genoeg speelplekken voor de kids. In de hittegolf bleef het huisje best koel en dat was heerlijk voor onze nachtrust. De bedden van de kids waren top, het tweepersoonsbed heeft een heel zacht matras, daar moet je van houden ;). We hebben veel gefietst, gewandeld en gezwommen op mooie plekjes in de natuur. Het enige minpuntje was het zandpad richting het huis, voor onze normale fietsen niet te doen... maar lopen of het paadje langs het nephunebed lukte ook.
