Beautifully situated in the middle of the Green Heart between Amsterdam & Utrecht overlooking the vast polder is our cottage in the Ronde Venen on a very small recreation park, 5 kilometers from the village Wilnis. . It is a luxury chalet for two people, with a large enclosed garden by the water and a parking space in front of the door. There is a small vegetable garden from which you may pick all kinds of herbs. There are also several bushes with different types of berries. The chalet has a large terrace with a sliding door on which you can sit. In the flowery garden are several places to sit or relax. At the top of the dike is a swimming spot where you can swim in the Geer. The house has cozy living room overlooking the polder, a half open kitchen, equipped with all amenities such as air conditioning, electric oven and dishwasher. A nice bedroom and a bathroom. Towels and bed linen are included in the price.
Nature and surroundings
We are located between Nieuwkoop and Vinkeveen, in a beautiful watery area, the Ronde Venen. Our cottage is located on the water that connects to the Vinkeveense Plassen and the Nieuwkoop lakes. We have unobstructed views ( sunset every evening!) and very much privacy. There are beautiful hiking and cycling trips to make in the area. A canoe and/or a boat can be rented in the area, for example in Noorden or Vinkeveen. Should you own a boat yourself, there is a slipway nearby from which it is fifteen minutes sailing to us. We have a jetty and enough space to moor. Of course you can also just stay at home, we have many birds in the garden and swans and ducks in front of the door. You can even, if you like, cast a fishing rod. A dog is welcome with us, but with a young dog please consult in advance.
