For a primarily contactless stay, we welcome you to our fully furnished, cozy and comfortable 2-person tiny house (approximately 4x4 on one level) with a living room/bedroom (140x200 bed, which can be folded away out of sight if desired). There’s a covered area for storing bikes next to the tiny house, and bins for trash, glass, paper, and organic waste. The tiny house features a fully equipped kitchenette with an instant water heater, induction cooktop (4 cooking zones), combination microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker (filter coffee), and electric kettle. Bathroom with shower, toilet, heating, and mechanical ventilation. Windows with screen covers. Covered private patio with lighting, a table, adjustable garden chairs with cushions, and a clothesline with clothespins. The cottage has central heating, a TV, and a radio. Includes bedding, kitchen linens, towels, and a welcome pack of coffee and tea. Parking is available on the grass along the road, or (at an angle) on the gravel in the driveway. The cottage is pet-free and smoke-free. Hiking and biking trails, books, and activity brochures are available. Charging a car may be possible upon request.

Relax in the sun or shade, or enjoy the fall colors and winter scenes during the fall and winter months. Views of meadows and nature. Spot deer, storks, hares, birds, and more. As soon as you wake up, you’ll hear the birds singing. The village of Geeuwenbrug is located on the outskirts of Dwingeloo, between Drents-Friese Wold National Park and Dwingelderveld National Park. It’s close to the Leggelderveld nature reserve and the Blauwe Meer recreational lake. There are plenty of hiking and biking trails in the area. It’s a 20-minute bike ride to Dwingeloo or Diever, with their lively outdoor cafes and shops, or visit the famous Shakespeare Theater in Diever. A bus stop is about 300 meters away. It’s a 20- to 30-minute drive to Hoogeveen, Meppel, and Assen. In half an hour by car, you can reach the water-rich Weerribben Nature Reserve and Giethoorn.
