This cozy cozy detached cottage is an outbuilding in our yard in the outskirts of Kaatsheuvel. The former coach house has been converted into a vacation cottage and is suitable for max 5 persons. The coach house has its own entrance, a sitting and living area with TV, wifi, pellet stove, sofa, table and chairs. There is a kitchenette, with coffee and tea making facilities, fridge, combination microwave, dishwasher, 1 burner stove and plenty of crockery. The open loft has a bedroom with a 2-person box spring and a 1-person box bed. Downstairs there is a separate children's bedroom with a bunk bed and crib. From the living room you look out into the garden, where you have your own terrace with picnic table at your disposal. At the back of the garden we have a playing field for the children, with trampoline, playing field, sandbox and swing. Breakfast service is optional to book. From the cottage there are beautiful walks and bike rides. The Loonse and Drunense dunes are 15 min away. A wonderful area for mountain biking (vignette required), hiking, building huts, picnics, climbing trees, getting a breath of fresh air, reading a book, etc, Especially beautiful in August and September when the heather is in bloom. Nature, peace & environment:Very nice stay of 5 nights had during the Christmas vacations. Cottage was clean and fully equipped for us and our children aged 6 and 7. We appreciated the (play) garden, the fireplace and the bath and the children changed beds (stee) every day. There is so much to see in the area that we actually ran out of time: Tilburg, Loonse- en Drunense Duinen, Den Bosch, the Oerr playground at Oisterwijck and of course the Efteling. Annemiek was very cordial and provided a warm welcome. The fact that there was only one burner in the kitchen was fine by us. We warmed something up or picked something up somewhere. The cottage comes highly recommended. Thanks for the super stay!
Heel fijn verblijf van 5 nachten gehad tijdens de kerstvakantie. Huisje was schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien voor ons en onze kinderen van 6 en 7 jaar oud. We waardeerden de (speel)tuin, de haard en het bad en de kinderen ruilden iedere dag van bed (stee). In de omgeving is zoveel te zien dat we eigenlijk tijd tekort hadden: Tilburg, Loonse- en Drunense Duinen, Den Bosch, de Oerr speeltuin bij Oisterwijck en natuurlijk de Efteling. Annemiek was erg hartelijk en zorgde voor een warm ontvangst. Dat er in de keuken maar één pitje was, vonden we prima. We warmden wat op of haalden ergens iets af. Wij hadden beide dagen het ontbijt erbij besteld en dat is een echte aanrader. Beide dagen een verrassend ontbijt en een feestje op tafel.
