This detached, cozy vacation home stands amidst the flower fields in Sint Maartenszee only about 2 km from the North Sea beach! The house has a bright living room with patio doors to terrace and garden. There is a cozy sitting area with flat screen TV and a dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher, refrigerator, 4 gas hobs, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and filter coffee maker. In the utility room there is a large fridge-freezer and a washing machine. Also on the ground floor is a modern bathroom with shower cabin, sink and toilet. (One room remains closed for private use.) From the living room stairs to the first floor. Here there are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and a crib and the other with 2 single beds. Both bedrooms have both a closet and a sink. Second toilet. Terrace with garden furniture and a fixed barbecue.
Nature and surroundings
Sint Maartenszee is a hamlet in the municipality of Schagen and, together with its sisters Sint Maartensvlotbrug, Sint Maartensbrug and Sint Maarten, forms a tourist core along the coast, a short distance from Callantsoog and Schagen. As a seaside resort, Sint Maartenszee fulfills primarily a tourist function. Bustling and active in summer, there is plenty of peace and quiet in winter.

Was een super huisje met veel privacy

The house was clean and true to the photos. It was great to eat in the garden. The only part missing was extra set of toilet paper, since we were 5 adults and 2 kids we had to get additional rolls on the way.
The surrounding was beautiful and calming. We rented bicycles at the Schagen train station and cycled to the house. The area was not too busy and had small cafe/fastfood places.

Huisje staat aan een soort pleintje, waar de tuinen van nog 3 huisjes aan grenzen. Het 4e huisje stond aan de weg en dit huisje daar dus achter. Tuin niet omheind. Wij hadden tijdens ons verblijf alleen "voorburen". Met alle huisjes bezet geeft het een beetje een park gevoel.
In de polder, met de geur van hyacinten met op loopafstand een mooie strook bos vol met in bloei staande boshyacinten. Ook op loopafstand meerdere vakantie woningen. En strand op 2 km lopen/ fietsen of lekker lui, met de auto en de laatste +- 800 meter lopen.
