You’ll be staying in a magnificent 18th-century farmhouse. This picturesque farmhouse was built in 1837 as a showpiece for an estate. The nationally designated historic landmark stands completely secluded among forests and meadows. The property is ideal for active nature lovers who want to experience the beautiful surroundings; you can spend days exploring the nearby estates and relax in the garden in the evening, or enjoy a drink by the fireplace. People also love coming here to escape the daily hustle and bustle, unwind, and find new inspiration. Sometimes there’s a bit of activity from farmers tending their fields or hikers on the clog trails, but at other times there’s complete peace and quiet, interrupted only by birdsong and the murmur of a waterfall in the nearby canal. You’ll stay in your own private section of the farmhouse, which includes a living room, fully equipped kitchen, and bedroom. Accommodations are for 2 people; additional guests are permitted only by prior arrangement.

You can take advantage of an extensive network of hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. In addition to themed hikes, you can, of course, also set out on your own. From the farmyard, you can explore the area by bike. Various routes are located in the immediate vicinity. There is an extensive network of mountain bike trails, which run along beautifully maintained paths through the forest. In the immediate vicinity, you’ll find a lovely recreational lake, the Pyramid of Austerlitz, and the Grebbe Line.
