Nature and surroundings

Aldarete is at 800m of hight at Serra do Marão (1200m), North of Portugal, at Alto Douro Vinhateiro World heritage site. The house for your stay (the right one form the pictures overlooking the flower pots) is in the middle of the almond orchard overlooking the valley of Douro. Our property have 2 farm houses from 19th century that belonged to my great Grand parents (the main house and the vacation rental). You will meet my mother, she is born in Azores Island , or me (and my husband and our kitties 2).PS. The use of the Dome as a 3 rd room is a discretion of the owners.... a supplement may be applicable.
