Welcome. We set out to find a place in the Randstad that offered nature, space for animals, and was close to the sea. And we found it! A beautiful spot right near the dunes and the beach. Our farm was built around 1640 as a dairy and cheese farm, and what was once an old heifer barn is now a charming guesthouse that combines modern comforts with the atmosphere of days gone by. Far away from the hustle and bustle, yet close to everything. 1 km from Wassenaar, 2 km from the dunes, 5 km from the beach. Leiden and The Hague are also easily accessible. Once you arrive, you can park your car on our property, and you’ll find a small gate at the start of our path. Walk on in at your leisure, and you’ll likely be greeted by our dogs. We’re trying to convey our enthusiasm for this place and the surrounding area here, but we think a visit to our B&B will be the best way to convince you. You’re very welcome! P.S. From September 1 through July 1, we rent out the cottage only for longer stays (upon consultation).
Nature and surroundings
The B&B is hidden from view from the public road and surrounded by greenery. It’s an ideal place to unwind. At the same time, there’s plenty to do in the immediate area. Many people bring their bikes, go hiking, or play golf, and water sports enthusiasts are also among our regular guests. Tourist information is available at the B&B, but we’d also be happy to tell you all about the area—feel free to ask.

Das Naturhäuschen ist der ideale Standort um im Urlaub Natur und Kultur zu verbinden. Die malerischen historischen Orte liegen ganz in der Nähe und trotzdem ist man mitten in der Natur in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Dünen und Strand. Die sehr netten Gastgeber Yvonne und Roger, die zwei Hunde, sechs Schafe, zwei Pferde und die Störche im Nest, dazu die Dohlen auf der Wiese, die Sittiche in den Bäumen, Rotkehlchen, Zaunkönig, Baumläufer, Grünspecht und Möwen, das Fernglas sollte immer bereit liegen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Inmitten des dicht besiedelten Gebietes zwischen Den Haag und Leiden ist es eine Oase der Ruhe.
