Along Heerhugowaard runs a piece of the North-Holland walking path and there are also plenty of nice bike rides along the beautiful villages in the area. You can also easily bike from the nature house to the coastal area and forest in Schoorl. Schoorl also contains a cozy and attractive center with nice restaurants and stores. At 4.5 kilometers away you will find Middenwaard a large shopping center with many stores, supermarkets, restaurants, a cinema, a bowling alley and a theater. The cottage is located between the typical Dutch province cities, Alkmaar, Hoorn and Schagen. All reachable at a distance of 15 kilometers. These cities contain many beautiful things that are definitely worth a visit.
