In 1880, a small farmhouse was built on one of the most remote corners of the Alblasserwaard. It is located on the waterfront in nature reserve De Donkse Laagten. You stay here totally off-grid. There are no connections to water electricity and drainage, back to basics and away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Living close to nature. Electricity is provided by solar panels and batteries connected to them. In the cozy living room is a wood stove to keep it warm on a cooler evening. There is a sofa and a fine dining area where you have endless views of the meadow bird sanctuary of the Forestry Commission.
