Our spacious vacation home, featuring a beautiful sunroom, can accommodate 8 to 10 people. It’s located in Zonhoven, in central Limburg, near the “De Wijers” nature reserve. The “Land of 1,001 Ponds”—with direct access from our backyard and a view of one of the many beautiful ponds teeming with rich flora and fauna—is ideal for birdwatchers and a delight for those who appreciate the changing seasons.If you enjoy cycling, you can also take advantage of our bike rental service to explore the beautiful natural surroundings. If you’d rather stay at the house, you can relax in a man cave with a foosball table and an honesty bar in a covered lounge area, or enjoy the outdoor games, trampoline, and petanque court in the garden.You’re very welcome here—the Limburg cake will be waiting for you, and I’ll greet you with a smile because taking care of my guests is what I love to do most.

We are located in De Wijers; from the house, you can set out right away for a walk or bike ride. The observation tower is 800 meters from the house. In addition to the beautiful, peaceful surroundings, you’ll find marked hiking and biking trails in the immediate vicinity. We’re situated along the Wijveheide hiking trails, near the GR5 hiking routes, and right in the middle of the Limburg cycling route network between junctions 93 and 301.The Wijvenheide nature reserve is home to protected species such as the little bittern, the bittern, the tree frog, and the kingfisher...It’s truly a paradise for nature lovers—those who can find joy in life’s simple pleasures. A 10-kilometer bike ride through the Water area will take you to the Bokrijk property, where you can easily explore its rich history dating back to antiquity.The De Teut and De Holsteen nature reserves are stunning in the summer when the heather is in full bloom. In short, you’ll simply enjoy yourself here in every season.
