This farm and water mill is located in Mesch in the Dutch province of Limburg. The mill was one of six water mills on Dutch land using the waters of the small river Voer. The mill is part of a large Limburg farmstead. Between 1996 and 1998 the mill was completely restored and the former stables and haylofts were suitably converted into vacation apartments. Enter into the living room of apartment No. 7 with black/white and bright furniture and views of the courtyard. Kitchen with dining table. This apartment is ground floor and from the living room there is a hallway to the bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. Bedroom I has a double bed and a closet. Bedroom II has 2x single beds and a closet. Incl. made beds, 1x towel per person per stay and 1x tea towel and kitchen towel.
Nature and surroundings
We have many animals such as chickens, roosters, horses, donkeys, cats and dogs and they generally roam freely on our farm. The mill is located 10km from the historic center of Maastricht with many stores, museums, restaurants, cafes and entertainment venues. The center of Mesch is at 600m and Eijsden at about 2.5km. In a radius of 3km there are several restaurants, stores and supermarkets. The nearest airport is Maastricht Aachen Airport at 18km. From dermolen there are many beautiful hiking and touring routes, because the mill is located directly in the Savelsbos (10 minutes walk), 10 minutes drive from the Voer region and 40 minutes drive from the Ardennes. Via the Mergellandroute you can explore the Limburg Hill Country by car or bicycle.

Het is een mooie hoeve. De inventaris was echter zeer onvoldoende voor 4 personen en de hygiene was ook niet goed.
Verder is de lokatie niet toegerust op een actieve vakantie. Er is geen ruimte om fietsen neer te zetten of om deze af te spoelen. Buiten kranen mogen niet gebruikt worden en dus sta je je mountainbike in de beek te wassen. -

Prima huisje,
Veel last van muggen in huisje (door water achter de lokatie).
Hanen maken je wakker rond 5 uur in de ochtend.Goed. Leuke lokatie.

Goede plek om tot rust te komen. Heel leuk dat er kippen, honden en katten rond liepen. Als je niet tegen het gekakel van hanen kunt is het geen aanrader, maar ik vond het wel gezellig.
Super mooie en rustige plek. Een heel sfeervol binnenhofje, net een groot terras maar dan met rust en privacy.
