Our charmingly decorated log cabin is located in the peaceful, rural countryside of Elim, in South Drenthe. It’s right next to a large pond, where you can sit and relax. Enjoy nature and our animals! A place with privacy and unobstructed views. A nature house away from all the hustle and bustle—simply “back to basics.” The log cabin is equipped with a double bed (made up), a table with two chairs, a cabinet with kitchen supplies, and a two-burner gas stove. Outside, it’s lovely to relax on the deck by the pond, which is sheltered and partially covered. There are also lounge chairs and a picnic table. Our house is about 60 meters away, with a cat, a horse, and two donkeys on and around the property. The private bathroom facilities are located in a section of the barn (about 50 meters away and separate from our house). There you’ll also find a refrigerator, a microwave, and a place to wash dishes. It’s a quiet spot, so please refrain from playing any audible music (radio, instruments)!

It was really back to basics.
I do miss having a small fridge. You could fit one in if the closet were a little smaller.
And I didn’t see a smoke detector or a CO2 detector.
Also, a small trash can that you could take to the laundry room to sort into the larger bins.
Maybe also a large water bag or bottle that you can fill so you don’t have to go all the way to the front every time for water.Was echt back to basic.
