This farm and water mill is located in Mesch in the Dutch province of Limburg. The mill was one of six water mills on Dutch land using the waters of the small river Voer. The mill is part of a large Limburg farmstead. Between 1996 and 1998 the mill was completely restored and the former stables and haylofts were suitably converted into vacation apartments. At apartment No. 4 you enter the hallway with access to the storage room with washing machine, the toilet and the kitchen, sitting and dining area. Both the dining area and the sitting room are decorated with bright furniture and there is a desk. Covered terrace on the Mill Branch. Spiral staircase to the 1st floor with bathroom with toilet, shower and double sink and 3 bedrooms with 2x single beds and closet. Incl. made beds, 1x towel p.p. per stay and 1x tea and kitchen towel.
Nature and surroundings
We have many animals such as chickens, roosters, horses, donkeys, cats and dogs and they generally roam freely on our farm. The mill is located 10km from the historic center of Maastricht with many stores, museums, restaurants, cafes and entertainment venues. The center of Mesch is at 600m and Eijsden at about 2.5km. In a radius of 3km there are several restaurants, stores and supermarkets. The nearest airport is Maastricht Aachen Airport at 18km. From the mill there are many beautiful hiking and touring routes, because the mill is located directly in the Savelsbos (10 minutes walk), 10 minutes drive from the Voer region and 40 minutes drive from the Ardennes. Via the Mergellandroute you can explore the Limburg Hill Country by car or bicycle.

De combinatie van loslopende dieren en gastenverblijven zorgt voor slechte hygiëne op het terrein. Er is ruimte genoeg, dus de dieren op een ander stuk opvangen, zou het verblijf een stuk prettiger maken. In het kader van de ophokplicht voor de vogelgriep is het ook niet de bedoeling dat bezoekers in contact komen met hoenders.
