On your covered porch you can relax and have views of farmlands and the forest edge. And when you enjoy a glass of wine on your covered terrace in the evening sun, you might even see a few deer walking. They can regularly be seen at dusk! At 300 meters walking distance you will find a quiet swimming lake in the middle of the forest. From our grounds you can walk straight into the woods and onto the heath with many cycling and walking routes. The lodge in short: -Completely furnished living room and kitchen (incl. dishwasher and Nespresso machine, kettle, microwave, fridge with freezer) -2 bedrooms -completely furnished for 4 persons -shower and separate toilet -covered veranda -including television and free WIFI. -On our site there is also a hot tub which can be reserved (based on availability and at €). A private storage room where you can put your bicycles or other stuff! Freshly baked buns in the morning and on some evenings various snacks and hot meals are available in the evening.
Nature and surroundings
National Park Drentsche Aa The chalet is located in the National Park Drentsche Aa. This ancient nature reserve is the best preserved esdorpenschap of Western Europe and is characterized by streams, heaths, fens, vast forests, sand lakes and beaches. It is a very nice place for recreation! Take a bike ride or hike through nature, visit one of the cozy villages or enjoy a day on the water at one of the lakes. Follow the Wolvenspoor Within walking distance of the campsite you will find Het Wolvenspoor. A very nice walking route to follow (with the children). The route is about 5 kilometers and through an adventurous path you walk through the woods, across moors and wooden bridges over fens and stream valleys.

Prettig verblijf. Leuke open keuken.
Prima douche. De veranda......wow. en de picknicktafel voor het huisje. Super.Prachtige natuur. Schitterend uitzicht en reetjes aan de bosrand. Geweldig

Fijne stille plek, op het uiterste puntje van het terrein, met wijds open uitzicht en veel zon. Serviesgoed beetje krap voor 4 personen, en de bedden zijn knus (70x190). We waren hier met 2 personen en dat paste prima, met onze 2 pubers erbij had het niet gepast. Lodge is een soort tiny house, slim ontworpen en goed onderhouden en schoon. Voorzien van dubbel glas en horren in de slaapkamers.
Heerlijke avondzon op de veranda, sterke wifi. Gastvrije eigenaren, die elke ochtend heerlijke verse broodjes leveren, en eind van de middag ook wat warme snacks.
In de omgeving veel mogelijkheden voor wandelen en fietsen, direct vanaf het terrein. Vlakbij goede eetgelegenheden, en in Borger (7km) alle winkels die je nodig hebt. We komen hier zeker nog eens terug.Het is hier heerlijk stil, en je hebt vrij uitzicht over bosrand en akkers. Liefhebbers van ooievaars en kwikstaarten hebben het hier goed. Vlakbij is een prachtig wandel- en fietsgebied.

Praktisch en gezellig ingericht huisje. Keukengerei en borden/bestek aan de krappe kant waardoor je toch gaat afwassen terwijl er ook een afwasmachine is.
Bos zit op loopafstand. Heerlijk rustig. Vogeltrek goed waarneembaar ivm. grote plas in de nabije omgeving
