Woonark,A stranded houseboat at the end of the Hondsrug, it stands amidst tall trees in its own private grove. Back to Basic feeling and very cozy. You imagine yourself far away from civilization.under the large canopy is the summer enjoy, a private beach where you can lie in the sun on lovely loungers.when the evening falls is whisper quiet. In short, a place where you can relax and get in touch with nature.Cooking can be done inside on wood fire and summer on the BBQ. Sleep in a modern box bed and or bed boat. It is also possible to bring horses, there is ample stabling and pasture available. All this in consultation. As a walker, cyclist, water sports - or horse lover, you can indulge yourself with us there are several routes / nodes.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the southeast corner of Drenthe, near the German border. There are plenty of opportunities for excursions in the vicinity. For hiking and cycling you can include the Bargerveen (the former Drenthe, rugged and inhospitable), along the King William Alexander Canal and various junction routes. Other attractions related to the past can be found in the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum, the Veenpark in Barger-Compascuum and the Schoonebeek of old. You can also visit the van Gogh house in New-Amsterdam. Coevorden and Emmen have a more urban feel. Here, for example, you will find the famous Wildlands Adventure Zoo.
