It was a cozy little cottage with all the amenities; the kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were comfortable, there were window screens in the bedrooms, and the bathroom was lovely, with a toilet and a nice shower.
The garden is spacious, with both sunny and shady spots; it’s very peaceful and home to many different kinds of birds.
But there were also a few minor annoyances: the rental includes bed, bath, and kitchen linens. We rented the cottage for two weeks; the beds were made, and there was one large and one small towel per person on the bed. In the kitchen, there was one hand/kitchen towel and one dishcloth, and you have to make that last for a week.
The screen in the bathroom doesn’t work, and the light above the dining table in the kitchen was also broken.
And that was a bit of a downside for us, because we like to do crafts.

De hor in de badkamer doet het niet en ook het licht boven de eettafel in de keuken was defect.
En dat was voor ons een minpuntje, want wij knutselen graag.
Ondanks deze minpuntjes hebben we een prima vakantie gehad, maar niet helemaal zoals we het ons voorgesteld hadden.
