Originally a pavilion from the 2012 Floriade, the vacation home blends perfectly into the landscape with its all-glass facade, partially clad with wooden slats. From this delightful vacation home, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the rolling countryside and the Dommel River. The spacious home is furnished with comfortable furniture, features a cozy gas fireplace, air conditioning for hot summers, and a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, making a longer stay perfectly feasible. There is a separate, lockable bike shed where electric bike batteries can be charged. The private garden features two terraces where you can enjoy both sun and shade, close to the standard-tree orchard, a natural pond, and the many birds. And who knows—you might even spot some roe deer passing by…

The vacation home is located on a property that borders directly on the Dommel River. Along this meandering lowland stream, various walking and biking trails offer views of hedgerows, forests, meadows, hayfields, and ponds—in short, everything that characterizes the East Brabant landscape. As part of the Groene Woud National Landscape, the Vressels Bos lies on the other side of the road, featuring several ponds—including the Hazenputten and Oude Putten—and home to Scottish Highland cattle. From the nature center “de Vresselse Hut,” various hiking and biking trails begin (including MTB). North of the Vressels Bos lie the Dommelbeemden and the Moerkuilen, a striking peatland area in the Dommel Valley. A lovely walk through this area is rewarded with a magnificent view of the Dommel from the observation tower. In 2000, Sint-Oedenrode was named the greenest municipality in Europe, and for good reason. For nature lovers, there’s plenty to experience right from the vacation home and in the immediate surroundings!
