    It’s not very quiet during the day—there’s a restaurant next door and a wedding/event venue. But that’s okay; we knew that going in. Lots of cyclists and hikers, which is all fine.
    The spot is really nice; the house is okay—we didn’t spend much time inside since the weather was beautiful.
    The restaurant and other places close at 10:00 p.m., and then it gets really quiet and peaceful.
    A downside? The heat and the smell of fries in a couple of bedrooms above the kitchen—I don’t think there’s much you can do about that. The location by the lock offers a nice view of the pleasure boats.
