Top-notch cottage in a prime location!! (Search for "Fluitenberg" to find our other cottages.) This is an "Adults Only" B&B with 4 luxury guest accommodations. (Numbers of the other cottages: 36052, 46395, and 57595) From both lodges (this is the Alpcalodge)—luxury single-level apartments—you have a direct view of the deer and alpacas, and the alpacas and deer can even come right up to your patio, which they often do. The apartments feature a private entrance, a fully automatic coffee bean machine (beans included), air conditioning, a kitchenette, French doors opening onto the garden, a modern bathroom, and a (partially covered) private terrace, a Caresse box-spring bed, and a Smart TV. The alpacas and deer come right up to your terrace! A fresh breakfast is delivered to your accommodation. This nature house is located in a wooded village. Two other cottages are detached and located behind a country house, and two luxury lodges are situated in an original wooden barn. Free coffee/tea. Electric bikes available for rent. You can arrive and depart on any day you like; you can book just the accommodation, or choose to have a super-fresh and extensive breakfast served daily. If you prefer, you can cook your own meals or dine out nearby. It was a beautiful cottage with a warm atmosphere. You can sit outside on 3 sides. Behind, the terrace borders the meadow where deer and alpacas graze. Very soothing. It is very quiet. Stores are close by in Hoogeveen and there is a lot of nature nearby. The cottage is fully equipped and quite complete. Beautiful surroundings.
Het was een mooi huisje met een warme sfeer. Je kan aan 3 kanten buiten zitten. Achter grenst het terras aan het weiland waar herten en alpaca’s grazen. Heel rustgevend. Het is heel stil. We were in the Alpaca lodge, it is attractively decorated and is very clean. A nice view from the terrace -and bed- of the animals in the meadow. Breakfast was very tasty and complete. The contact with Edwin and Heleen was fine.
We zaten in de Alpacalodge, deze is sfeervol ingericht en is zeer netjes. Een mooi zicht vanaf het terras -en bed- op de diertjes in de weide. Het ontbijt was superlekker en compleet. Het contact met Edwin en Heleen verliep fijn.
The cottage is located in a yard, about 1 km from the highway in the beginning of a the village. We experienced a lot of peace and quiet there. We used the B&B as a base to visit friends and family and therefore saw little of the immediate area. It is very central and ideal for excursions.
