Nature and surroundings
You will find this vacation home in the outskirts of Schagen 11 km from the beach and dunes of St.Maartenszee (a coastal village with a beautiful wide beach) and 4 km from the old city center of Schagen. Enjoy the peace and space, the many activities and the cozy villages. Or be surprised walking or cycling through the beautiful West Friesland, with its beautiful polder landscapes, beach, forest and dune area. In the spring lambs are born on our farm and you can enjoy the beautiful flower fields. Highly recommended is the beautiful circular walk from walking starting point Tolke; a route that leads over old streetcar tracks, (un)paved country and dike roads, canal and mound paths. Furthermore, the West Frisian dike, which once protected people and animals from the salt water, is only 10 minutes away by bike. A day at Texel, Alkmaar or Schoorl are also highly recommended and a golf course is almost around the corner. Too many to mention.

Marc September 26, 2025 General rating:Perfect location for a group stay and getaway. The 7 of us had a top weekend here. Accommodation looks like new and is beautifully decorated. Spacious living room and very large dining table so you can all eat together or just sit without getting in each other's way (which is sometimes different at other accommodations). Spacious kitchen in the living room with a bar and 2(!) refrigerators. Nice sleek bedrooms with good beds and each with its own toilet and shower. There are also 2 small living rooms near the bedrooms so people can sit there and watch TV for example. Everything just looks sleek and like new. Also the owners are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
Perfecte lokatie voor een groepsverblijf en -uitje. Wij hebben hier met zijn 7'en een topweekend gehad. Accommodatie lijkt wel nieuw en is prachtig ingericht. Ruime woonkamer en hele grote eettafel zodat je gezellig met zijn allen kunt eten of gewoon zitten zonder elkaar in de weg te zitten (wat soms wel anders is bij andere accommodaties). Ruime keuken in de woonkamer met een bar en 2(!) koelkasten. Mooie strakke slaapkamers met goede bedden en met ieder een eigen toilet en douche. Daarnaast zijn er nog 2 kleine woonkamers bij de slaapkamers zodat mensen daar kunnen zitten en bijv. TV kijken. Alles ziet er gewoon strak en als nieuw uit. Ook de eigenaren zijn heel vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. Een echte aanrader.
