Your pet is welcome in this vacation home. It is located in the countryside outside Schagen in North Holland, 11 km from the coast. In this cottage, you can enjoy the cozy underfloor heating throughout the entire ground floor. Here you’ll find the living room with a dining area and a sitting area with a TV, as well as the bathroom, toilet, and kitchen. A staircase in the living room leads to the spacious bedroom with comfortable box-spring beds, which can be made up either separately or together. You have the entire cottage to yourself, offering plenty of privacy, a private entrance, and a private patio where you can relax in a cozy, sheltered setting. This vacation home is part of a barn where our sheep and lambs stay for part of the year. Enjoy the sunset and the vast countryside. Nature and surroundings
You’ll find this vacation home in the outskirts of Schagen, 11 km from the beautiful dune area of St. Maartenszee, a coastal village with a gorgeous, wide beach. It’s also 4 km from Schagen’s historic city center. Enjoy the peace and quiet, the many activities, and the charming villages. Or let yourself be surprised by the beauty of West Friesland as you walk or bike through its stunning polder landscapes, beaches, dunes, forests, and coastal areas. In the spring, lambs are born here on our farm, and you can enjoy the beautiful flower fields. We highly recommend a lovely circular hike starting at the Tolke trailhead—a route that takes you along old tram tracks, paved and unpaved country and dike roads, as well as canal and mound paths. Furthermore, the West Frisian encircling dike, which once protected people and animals from the salt water, is just a 10-minute bike ride away from us. A day trip to Texel is also highly recommended, and you’ll find a golf course practically right around the corner from us. There’s too much to list. We look forward to welcoming you.

Good value for money and tranquility. Cottage is really well furnished and good facilities.
Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding en rust. Huisje is echt goed ingericht en goede faciliteiten.
Peace and quiet and space were fine. The lambs did wake up just a bit earlier than us but it did give a rural experience. The setting is classic countryside. Whether that is nature. But that does not detract from the fact that it is a nice place
Rust en ruimte waren prima. De lammeren waren wel net wat eerder wakker dan wij maar het gaf wel een landelijke ervaring.

Een heel net en schoon huisje. Directe buren zijn de schapen in de stal. Die hoor je wel blaten, maar dat vonden wij geen probleem. Helaas geen mooie tuin om buiten te kunnen zitten. Wij trokken er dus wel dagelijks op uit.
Rust en ruimte in overvloed. Schitterende duinen en strand zijn dichtbij.
